At the Speed of Light...

Life is passing by at the speed of light and I am completely in love with my new house. These are, of course, two pretty unrelated statements, except for that this speed-of-light-live-experience makes that the moments I spend in my new place seem so short. I just want to spend entire days in the ultimate Zen of my new place. It is a light, white and yellow space in which Xander and I (more Xander than I 'cause he knows how to do it so much better) put a beautiful wooden floor.
This new place to live consists of an entire floor in one of these old, Dutch-style houses in the city center of The Hague. It is basically one big space from which only the bathroom and the storage space are separated with doors. I now have my own bathroom, my own kitchen and... my own balcony. Bliss!
I even went as far as to tell Kitty that "I am going to stay in this house untill I will have to leave". Upon which Kitty, very understandably, answered: "Ehm, isn't that something quite normal, living in house untill you have to leave?" Well, not for me with my eternal nomadic tendencies. But, hey, who knows, maybe the stay at this house will really be a break in the chain of continuous moving (approximately 14 times in the past 16 years)...

Then, on a completely different topic: My CONGRATULATIONS to MARY! Recently her thesis has been awarded Highest Honors!!! I think that rules! Sorry I can't come to Chapel Hill (NC) to see you graduate, but I hope you will have a great day!

Ha. Thanks for the shout out. I'm glad you got the invite. It was more of a joke, but still you are invited!

I already thought that you would not be counting on my presence with 100% surety. But wouldn't it have been such a blast if I would seriously have gotten on a plane to be there?! :)

San-chan, my friend!
it's cool to read your little life stories now and then. Keep on writing and it's wicked you're enjoying life at such a pace. You know I'm going grey? I think we should meet up when I'm back from the Republic of South Africa, catch up on a few gaps in each other's stories.
Until then, keep on walking baby.
